Dr. Okechukwu Okorie is a Senior Lecturer in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Manchester and a Royal Academy of Engineering Research Fellow. He leads a £0.625 million fellowship focused on circular economy modelling for net-zero manufacturing and co-leads the £1.5M EPSRC-funded DECHI project. His research spans sustainable manufacturing, circular economy digitalization, lifecycle assessment, and carbon accounting. He has secured over £3.3M in funding since 2016 and collaborates with global firms like Airbus and Rolls Royce.
