Ofra Pottorf

Dr. Ofra Pottorf is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy with over a decade of experience as an educator and clinical specialist. She serves as Director of Clinical Education and holds an ABPTS board certification as an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). Her clinical expertise spans orthopedic physical therapy, acute care, and school-based pediatric settings. She co-developed the community wellness program "Back-On-Track" for bariatric patients in 2011.

Her research focuses on clinical readiness models, including the impact of patient simulation on professional behavior skills and the validation of emerging technologies like 3D motion capture systems and mobile devices for healthcare applications. She actively explores their reliability and validity in clinical and educational contexts.

Dr. Pottorf has led courses in musculoskeletal physical therapy, applied kinesiology, therapeutic exercise, and clinical skills at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
