Oded Galor serves as the Herbert H. Goldberger Professor of Economics at Brown University and is recognized as the founder of Unified Growth Theory, which examines economic development across human history and explains the transition from stagnation to growth.
Galor has received multiple Doctorate Honoris Causa degrees from prestigious institutions including Nicolaus Copernicus University, Athens University of Economic and Business, UC Louvain, and Poznań University of Economics & Business. He holds esteemed academic memberships as an elected Foreign Member of Academia Europaea and an Elected Fellow of the Econometric Society.
