Prof. Tokiz's research centers on Turkish literary analysis with particular expertise in Modern Turkish Literature. His scholarly work dissects narrative structures, symbolic frameworks, and thematic elements across novels and short stories. He examines how authors employ Sufi discourse, archetypal symbolism, and innovative writing techniques to construct meaning, contributing significantly to the understanding of Turkey's literary heritage through both traditional criticism and contemporary analytical lenses.
His publication pattern from 2017-2022 reveals sustained scholarly engagement with Turkish literary canon. The research consistently explores symbolic and structural dimensions across diverse genres—from poetry imagery to novelistic techniques—with increasing sophistication in later works. This trajectory demonstrates deepening analytical rigor while maintaining focus on foundational Turkish authors and texts.
