Dr. ONUORAH IFEANYI JOHN serves as a Fixed-term researcher in the Department of Mathematical, Physical and Computer Sciences at the University of Parma, teaching Physics Laboratory courses for Bachelor's Physics students across cohorts 2023/2024 and 2024/2025.
His primary research spans Condensed Matter Physics and Computational Physics, with specialized focus on muon spectroscopy techniques, superconductivity phenomena in novel materials, and magnetism in complex oxides. Current investigations include electronic structure modeling, anisotropic superconducting behavior, and magnetostrictive effects in quantum materials.
Recent publications demonstrate strong interdisciplinary collaboration in developing automated computational workflows for muon spin analysis and probing magnetic ground states in quasi-one-dimensional superconductors and lanthanide oxides. His work integrates advanced simulation methods with experimental spectroscopy to address fundamental questions in quantum material properties.
