Nóra Anna Lantos is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Education and Psychology at Szombathely, Eötvös Loránd University. She holds academic appointments in the Social Groups and Media Research Lab and serves on the Research Ethics Committee and Ethics Committee as an Alternate Member. Her work focuses on intergroup relations, media studies, and social inequality, with a particular emphasis on marginalized groups like Roma communities and LGBTIQ+ individuals. She actively contributes to research on collective action, prejudice reduction, and the psychological impacts of societal issues like the pandemic.
Dr. Lantos’s research explores how social structures and media influence group dynamics, including the role of contact interventions, microaggressions, and cultural values in shaping attitudes. Her studies often adopt a multinational perspective, addressing topics such as gender inequality, stigma toward mental health, and the politicization of public health behaviors.
Her publications span peer-reviewed articles in top journals, focusing on themes such as prosocial behavior during crises, the intersection of political ideology and health stigma, and the societal impacts of polarization. She is also involved in educational initiatives and ethical research practices through her committee roles.
