Márton Hadarics is a Habil. Associate Professor at the Department of Social Psychology, Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), where he also serves as Head of the TDK department. His research focuses on social inequality, intergroup relations, and the psychological mechanisms underlying prejudice and allyship. He leads the Social Groups and Media Research Lab/Workshop, exploring topics such as conspiracy theories, LGBTQ+ rights, and Roma inclusion.
His work integrates experimental and contextual approaches, examining how societal structures and media influence perceptions of justice, trust, and political attitudes. Notable areas include authoritarianism's impact on democratic quality perceptions, the palliative function of belief systems, and strategies to reduce anti-Gypsyism.
