Nzinga Shaw

Nzinga Shaw is an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s Haslam College of Business and CEO of Attack the Glass LLC (ATG). She specializes in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), human capital strategy, crisis management, and community engagement. Her career includes pioneering DEI roles at Starbucks, the Atlanta Hawks, and State Farm Arena, where she launched initiatives like the MOSAIC symposium and championed LGBTQ+ and disability advocacy in professional sports.

• Two Honorary Doctorates in Humane Letters from LeMoyne-Owen College and Morris Brown College

Her research interests focus on integrating DEI principles into organizational structures, leveraging sports as a platform for social change, and advancing equity in professional environments. She has been recognized for leadership with awards like “40 Under 40” and holds board positions at ColorComm, Rising Media Stars, and Bennett College’s Board of Trustees.
