Nursechafia is a Lecturer at the Department of Economics at Pertamina University, Indonesia, where she has taught undergraduate courses in statistics, macroeconomics, Islamic economics, central banking, monetary economics, and final dissertation supervision for seven years. She is currently a PhD student at the School of Economics, University of Sheffield (since 2023). Her research focuses on financial inclusion, household finance, and applied microeconometrics using longitudinal data.
Previously, she held a Research Fellowship at the Central Bank of Indonesia (Bank Indonesia), contributing to evidence-based policy recommendations for financial inclusion. She collaborated with the UN Pulse Lab on a Technical Report about Financial Inclusion (2018) and presented research at international conferences organized by the Central Bank of Indonesia in 2015 and 2019.
Her academic contributions span macroeconomic analysis, monetary policy, and biodiesel economics, with over 15 peer-reviewed articles. She is supported by the Indonesian Education Scholarship Program (BPI) from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, Indonesia.
