Nurliyana Abdullah is an Honorary Lecturer in the Division of Neuroscience at the John Curtin School of Medical Research, Australian National University. Affiliated with the Maddess Group, her research focuses on diagnostic innovations for eye diseases, particularly leveraging neuro-ophthalmic approaches.
Her work supports the development of non-invasive tools for early detection of ocular pathologies. Current projects investigate retinal biomarkers for neurodegenerative conditions, bridging neuroscience and clinical ophthalmology.
