Nuran Doğru is a Professor at Gaziantep University, affiliated with the Faculty of Engineering and the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Her research focuses on quantum dot lasers, optoelectronics, and photonics, with a particular emphasis on intensity noise analysis and short pulse generation.

Her research interests span quantum dot lasers, mode-locked laser dynamics, photonic devices, and noise reduction techniques. Recent work explores gain-switched laser modeling using multi-population rate equations and biomedical applications like remote blood pressure monitoring via photoplethysmography.
