Professor Nuran Acur is a leading academic in Innovation Management at the Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow. Her career includes roles at Strathclyde University (UK), Ozyegin University (Turkey), Aalborg University (Denmark), and Bilkent University (Turkey). She has held visiting positions at MIT, London Business School, and Trinity College Dublin. Her research focuses on emerging innovation trends like AI and 5G, with emphasis on societal impact across healthcare, telecommunications, and public sectors. She co-chairs the Innovation and Product Development Conference and leads high-impact projects such as TANDEM (digital health ecosystems in Indonesia) and DARWIN (driverless car innovation with ESA funding). She has secured over £5M in research grants from agencies including EPSRC, ESRC, and European Space Agency.
