Noëlle Zendrera is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences (SHS) at Université Catholique de l’Ouest (UCO) Angers. She holds a PhD in Education from the University of Sherbrooke (Canada, 2010) and is a member of the LIRFE research team (Interdisciplinary Laboratory on Key Issues in Training and Education). Her roles include Vice-Dean for International Affairs (2019–2024) and co-supervisor of doctoral theses in the Doctorate in Education, Career Studies, and Ethics (ECE).
Her research focuses on education, pedagogy, statistical education, and neuroscientific approaches to learning, with emphasis on chronobiology, sleep patterns, and embodied cognition. She has published extensively on topics like statistical concept learning, educational neuroscience, and inclusive policies in higher education. Awards include Chevalier (2013) and Officier (2020) of the Order of Academic Palms. Her work bridges theory and practice, collaborating with educators and institutions to integrate neuroscientific insights into teaching methods.
Key publications include works on biodiversity education (2023), body-mind integration in learning (2023), and hybrid pedagogical approaches (2021). Her research often addresses interdisciplinary challenges in education, advocating for holistic and evidence-based practices.
