Karl-Friedrich Israel is a Lecturer in Economic Sciences (HDR) at Université Catholique de l’Ouest (UCO Angers), France. He holds a PhD in Economics from UCO Angers (2017) and an HDR from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (2023). His research focuses on macroeconomics, history of economic thought, and Austrian economics, with a particular emphasis on monetary policy’s societal impacts. He is affiliated with the Mises Institute (USA) and the Liberales Institut (Switzerland).
