Nour Kteily

Nour Kteily is a Professor at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, and co-director of the Dispute Resolution Research Center (DRCC) and founding co-director of the Center for Enlightened Disagreement. His work bridges social psychology, organizational behavior, and political science to address systemic intergroup conflict.

His research focuses on power/status dynamics, dehumanization, and conflict resolution across racial, political, and international divides. Key themes include how inequality exacerbates intergroup tensions, reputational motives in punishment, and strategies to mitigate partisan animosity.

Recent work investigates sociopolitical motivations for policy resistance, multiracial alliance formation, and reputational incentives in collective action. Articles span journals like Science, Nature Human Behaviour, and Journal of Personality and Social Psychology.
