Dr. Nouha Alcheikh ep Allouch is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical & Nuclear Engineering at Khalifa University's College of Engineering. She holds a PhD in RF MEMS from Grenoble University and has extensive postdoctoral experience at CEA-Leti/MINATEC Campus, IMS Bordeaux, and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).
- Master’s: Electronics, Polytechnic National Institute of Grenoble (2007)
- PhD: RF MEMS, University of Grenoble (2011)
Her research focuses on the design, analysis, and characterization of novel smart sensors at the micro scale for self-powered systems across security, health, environmental, and communication applications. Key areas include stretchable electronics for wearable systems, pressure/gas/magnetic/temperature sensors, energy harvesting, and flexible biosensors.
The 7 most recent publications (2023–2024) highlight her work on MEMS sensor optimization using resonant microstructures, Lorentz forces, and multi-mode excitation. Topics span vacuum pressure sensing, greenhouse gas monitoring, dynamic amplification, and flexible electronics, reflecting her interdisciplinary approach to smart sensor development.
