Norman Guo is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Saint Louis University's Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Georgia State University, an M.S. in Finance from Bentley University, and a B.S. in Finance from South China Normal University.
His research focuses on financial derivatives, machine learning applications in finance, and hedge fund performance. His work explores dynamic return patterns through deep learning and analyzes the impact of AI adoption on financial markets.
Professor Guo has received recognition including the 2021 GTA Teaching Excellence Award from Georgia State University. He teaches courses on Principles of Finance, Blockchain Technologies, and Corporate Finance.
He maintains professional affiliations with the American Finance Association and Financial Management Association, and has presented research at numerous academic conferences including FMA, SFA, and Economics of Financial Technology Conference.
