Noriyuki Aoki is a Professor at Waseda University Faculty of Law (since 2012) and an Adjunct Professor at Keio University Faculty of Law (since 2015). He has also served as a Visiting Professor at Venis International University (2021) and held academic roles at Rikkyo University and Waseda University since 2000. His work focuses on Civil Law, Comparative Law, and Secured Transactions.
Research Interests include financial collateral law, American Law, and civil law. His scholarship examines the interaction of global legal standards (e.g., UNCITRAL Model Law, UCC9) with domestic reforms in Japan, particularly in movable and receivables collateral systems, registration priority, and legislative policy.
