Norbert Meier

Norbert Meier serves as a Lecturer at the Institute of Innovation and Technology Management (IIT) within the Lucerne School of Engineering and Architecture at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) since 2008. Additionally, he has been leading the continuing education course CAS Industriedesign since 2019.

His educational journey includes:

• Apprenticeship as an electrician

• Apprenticeship as a goldsmith
• Degree in Industrial Design from FHNW in Aarau

Meier's professional work centers on industrial and product design with a strong commitment to sustainability and social impact. Through his studio, tale Designstudio, he engages in projects ranging from corporate products (e.g., for SENNHEISER, LOEWE) to social initiatives, always aiming to improve life and society through innovative design.

His accolades include:

In his academic role, Meier teaches modules GEST, INDES2, and INTEDE, and leads the CAS Industriedesign course. He founded tale Designstudio GmbH in 2015, which operates under the principle of applying talent and vision to create a positive future, redefining design processes for each project by combining strategy, intuition, and influences from science and art.
