Norbert M. Schmitz is a Professor of Aesthetics at the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts in Kiel, Germany. He has held academic roles at institutions including the University of Wuppertal (1992-1996), University of Siegen (2000), Ruhr University Bochum (1991-2000), and the University of Art and Design in Zurich (1999/2000). His international lecture activities span Austria, Switzerland, France, USA, and Pakistan.
