Prof. Dr. Norbert Grotjohann is a Professor at Bielefeld University's Faculty of Biology, specializing in Biology Education with a focus on Botany and Cell Biology. He holds a joint appointment at the Center for Biotechnology (CeBiTec) where he leads didactic management for teutolab-biotechnology. As a member of BiSEd (Bielefeld Science Education), he develops innovative science education programs and coordinates multiple teaching modules.
His research focuses on biology education methodologies, biotechnology didactics, and botanical sciences. He coordinates modules including Advanced Media Competencies in Biology Classes, Master's thesis supervision, Organismic Biology, and School Garden Biology programs.
