Norbert Buchinger

Norbert Buchinger is a doctoral researcher affiliated with the Austrian Academy of Sciences (OeAW) working within the Institute for Oriental and European Archaeology (IMPA) under the Research Group Quaternary Archaeology. His research focuses on Paleolithic archaeology, lithic technology, and Stone Age cultural evolution across Central Europe and the Carpathians.

He employs methods such as 3D modeling and raw material provenance analysis to reconstruct prehistoric land-use and subsistence strategies.
