Nora Czamler

Nora Czamler is a Lecturer at the University of Art and Design Linz, teaching 'Working with Sound in Time-Based Media' since 2022 and 'Recording and Studio Technology' since 2021. Based in Vienna, she operates as a professional sound engineer and sound designer with extensive industry experience.

Her educational background includes a Master of Arts in Sound Engineer Training from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and two semesters of Musicology Bachelor studies at the University of Vienna.

Czamler's professional focus centers on cinematic sound production across documentaries, feature films, and short films. Her expertise spans original sound recording, boom operation, sound editing, and sound design, with notable technical proficiency in time-based media workflows. She demonstrates particular strength in documentary soundscapes and narrative audio integration, collaborating with directors like Nikolaus Geyrhalter and Sabine Derflinger on over 30 film projects since 2013.
