Nolan McCarty is the Susan Dod Brown Professor of Politics and Public Affairs at the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs, where he has served as Chair of the Politics Department (2011-2018) and Vice Dean for Strategic Initiatives. His research spans political polarization, economic and political inequality, regulation, and statistical methodologies applied to political questions.
