Dr Noemi Magugliani is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Kent's Kent Law School. Their work focuses on critical migration and border studies, queer theory applications to legal frameworks, and vulnerability constructs within anti-trafficking systems. Current research examines gendered protection barriers faced by trafficked adult men and challenges in international refugee law. Professional roles include Senior Legal Adviser to the UN Special Rapporteur on Trafficking and co-founder of de:border // migration justice collective addressing Mediterranean border externalization.
