Noelia Perez Rodriguez

Noelia Perez Rodriguez is a Researcher affiliated with the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Vigo's Higher Technical School of Engineering. She was part of the BIOGROUP (Environmental Biotechnology) research group during 2018-2019.

She earned her Doctorate from the University of Vigo in 2016 with the thesis titled "Biorefinery of agricultural wastes for obtaining enzymes, phenolic compounds and biogas", supervised by Dr. José Manuel Domínguez González and Dr. Ana María Torrado Agrasar.

Her research focuses on sustainable biorefinery processes, environmental biotechnology applications, and the valorization of agricultural wastes into high-value products such as enzymes, phenolics, and biogas. This work bridges chemical engineering principles with ecological resource management.
