Noel T. Brewer

Noel T. Brewer, PhD, is the Gillings Distinguished Professor of Public Health at the University of North Carolina’s Gillings School of Global Public Health, Department of Health Behavior. His research focuses on vaccination, tobacco use, medical screening, and cancer-related health behaviors, with over 375 publications. He leads a center funded by a $12 million NCI grant to improve HPV vaccine communication and advises global health organizations like the World Health Organization and CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices.

Education: PhD in Psychology (Rutgers University, 2002), MS in Psychology (Rutgers, 2000), BA in Economics (University of California, 1993).
