Nobuo Nakamura is a Professor at Waseda University's School of Commerce, Faculty of Commerce, where he has been teaching since 2004. Professor Nakamura earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Waseda University's Faculty of Laws and Graduate School, Division of Law, specializing in Civil Law. His academic journey began at Aichi Gakuin University's Faculty of Law in 1991, followed by positions at Waseda University since 1994, progressing to his current professorship.
Nakamura's research interests span corporate governance, insurance law, UK company law, and comparative legal systems. He has made significant contributions to understanding de facto directors, shadow directors, corporate group law, and dual-class share structures.
