Noah Heringman is a Curators' Professor of English at the University of Missouri, affiliated with the College of Arts and Science. His work focuses on Romanticism, literature and science, and critical theory. He holds a PhD from Harvard University (1998) and has held prestigious fellowships, including from the Huntington Library (2000-2001) and the National Humanities Center (2014-2015). His research explores intersections between literature, geology, and historical knowledge, with a focus on British Romanticism and the Enlightenment.
