Dr. Nkiru Nnawulezi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), affiliated with the Human Services Psychology graduate program’s Community Track. Her research focuses on gender-based violence, survivor empowerment, and intersectional approaches to understanding Black women’s experiences with abuse and organizational responses.
