Nizar GHAMGUI

Nizar Ghamgui is an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship and Head of the Strategy & Entrepreneurship Department at EM Normandie Business School since 2023. Previously, he held academic roles at EDC Paris Business School (2021-2023) and PSB Paris School of Business (2019-2020). He earned a PhD in Management Sciences from IAE Clermont Auvergne in 2021, focusing on the nexus between individuals and entrepreneurial opportunity.

His research explores entrepreneurial opportunity, failure, women entrepreneurship, digital entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurship in extreme situations. He has authored numerous academic articles in journals like International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Innovation and International Review of Entrepreneurship, with a focus on emerging markets, post-pandemic strategies, and gender dynamics.

Teaching includes Entrepreneurship, Green Entrepreneurship, and Research Methodology. His work emphasizes inclusive entrepreneurship, challenging the myth of the 'startup nation' by advocating for diverse entrepreneurial models such as social enterprises and SMEs.

Key contributions include studies on family business succession, eco-innovation drivers, and the role of business planning in internationalization. He actively disseminates research through media outlets like The Conversation and FNEGE educational videos.
