Nitin P. Padture is the Otis Everett Randall University Professor of Engineering at Brown University's School of Engineering (Materials Science). He leads the Padture Research Lab and directs Brown's Initiative for Sustainable Energy (ISE). His career includes roles at the University of Connecticut and Ohio State University, where he held endowed professorships.
Education: B.Tech. (IIT Bombay, 1985), M.S. (Alfred University, 1987), Ph.D. (Lehigh University, 1991), followed by postdoctoral research at NIST.
