Nitin Nitin is a Professor and Department Vice-Chair in the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering at the University of California, Davis. His research focuses on food engineering, biomedical engineering, and molecular imaging, with a particular emphasis on food safety innovations and biomaterials for cellular agriculture. He holds a Ph.D. from Georgia Institute of Technology (2005) and Rutgers University (2008).
Research Interests:
- Food Engineering: Non-thermal food processing, bioavailability of nutraceuticals, antimicrobial technologies.
- Biomedical Engineering: Molecular imaging for disease detection, biomaterials for cultivated foods, and therapeutic delivery systems.
