Nirav Parikh is a Senior Lecturer (Education Focused) at RMIT University's School of Economics, Finance and Marketing. He holds a PhD in Finance (2017) and a Master's in Accountancy (2012), both from RMIT. With 16 years of professional experience in wealth management and portfolio analysis, his academic roles include Deputy Head of Discipline (2023–2024), Program Manager for the Bachelor of Business (Economics and Finance), and undergraduate coordinator.
His research focuses on finance in developing countries, emphasizing regulatory impacts on IPOs, corporate governance in emerging markets, climate finance, and UN SDGs (notably Climate Action and Gender Equality). Teaching interests span Investment Analysis, Portfolio Management, and Sustainable Finance across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
Parikh has supervised seven research-based degree projects since 2018, exploring topics like downside risk in board diversity and financial market integration in ASEAN+3. He is open to supervising Masters and PhD students in finance-related areas.
