Niranjan Rajah is an Assistant Professor at Simon Fraser University's School of Interactive Arts and Technology. His research develops theoretical frameworks for culturally reflective media, investigates the relationship between sacred art and digital technology, and designs breath-based interfaces for navigating sacred content.
Education includes BSc in Economics from Queen Mary College, University of London; Postgraduate Diploma in Law from University of Westminster; and MFA from Goldsmiths College, University of London.
He serves as Researcher in Residence at Surrey Art Gallery's TechLab, convenes the New Forms Festival Conference, and holds advisory positions with Centre A, BANFF New Media Institute, and Canada Council for the Arts.
