Nina Schneider is an Assistant Professor in the History Department at the University of Duisburg-Essen, specializing in global-local perspectives on human and social rights. She leads the DFG-funded project "Child Labour Opponents in the Americas and their Campaigns in Global Perspective, 1888-1938" and serves as a Research Group Leader at the Centre for Global Cooperation Research (GCR21). Her work bridges Global History, Cultural History, and Public History, with a focus on child labor, dictatorship legacies, and racism.
