Dr. Nina Sangers is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Sciences at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, within the Faculty of Behavioural and Movement Sciences. Her research focuses on narrative and voice elements in educational materials, corpus studies of textbooks, and student engagement strategies. She explores how linguistic features like vividness and narrative structures influence learning outcomes and pedagogical practices.
Key research areas include educational content design, textbook analysis, and language acquisition, with a particular emphasis on Dutch educational contexts.
