Nina Martin, Professor of Dance Studies at Texas Christian University's School for Classical & Contemporary Dance, brings 45+ years of expertise as a choreographer, pedagogue, and performer. Her work bridges somatic practices, post-modern dance systems, and applied dance for healthcare/business collaboration. She holds a Ph.D. and MFA from Texas Woman’s University and a BA from SUNY Empire State College.
Research Focus: Martin pioneers dance systems like Ensemble Thinking and ReWire Movement States, focusing on perception, preconscious movement, and dance as a tool for health (particularly cerebral palsy) and organizational team-building. Her international reach spans 15+ countries, with workshops and performances across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
