Nina JACOBS is a Researcher at the Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences at Hasselt University, affiliated with the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy. Her work focuses on understanding balance control in children with cerebral palsy through interdisciplinary approaches.
Her research integrates neuromechanics, brain imaging, and functional testing to address both central and peripheral aspects of motor impairments. She contributes to teaching in scientific internships and master's thesis supervision, as well as courses on geriatric and psychiatric rehabilitation.
Current projects include:
- Inzicht in balanscontrole bij kinderen met cerebrale parese (2021-2025, ongoing)
- Proprioceptie bij cerebral palsy (2019-2023)
