Prof. Dr. Nina GOOSSENS is a postdoctoral researcher at the Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation Research Group within the Rehabilitation Research Center (REVAL) at Hasselt University. She is affiliated with the Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences and the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy.
- Active in musculoskeletal rehabilitation research since at least 2019
- Focus areas: proprioception, psychological factors, and inflammatory markers in pregnancy-related lumbopelvic pain
Research Interests include:
- Predictive factors for low back pain during pregnancy and postpartum
- Biopsychosocial mechanisms in chronic pain development
- Preventive strategies for maternal health issues
