His work spans organizational dynamics in process industries, lock-in mechanisms in CCS, and societal implications of greenhouse gas removal (GGR) technologies.
Key Projects: Led NERC-funded research on mitigation deterrence effects of GGRs and Formas-funded studies on carbon removal politics. Authored a Routledge edited volume on CCS uncertainties.
Teaching: Offers undergraduate modules in qualitative research methods, social science perspectives on technology/environment, and urban futures field courses. Contributes to postgraduate teaching on Climate Change and Society.
Research Groups: Affiliated with Critical Geographies, Energy Lancaster, and Human Geography teams.
