Nikos Titokis is a Professor of Composition, Aural Training, and Analysis at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Rostock. His career spans roles as a pianist, arranger, composer, and conductor, emphasizing interdisciplinary and transcultural collaborations. He leads the band Titokis 5, blending Mediterranean and Northern musical influences, and co-created the project Nine Dances, merging music with painting and dance. His work appears in projects like the NDR Bigband recordings and the Special Jazz Moves sampler, showcasing fusions of classical, jazz, and minimal music.
Education: He holds a Diplom in Jazz Piano and a Master's in Composition/Arrangement, studying under Prof. Jürgen Friedrich, Prof. Wolf Kerschek, and Prof. Michael Hamel.
