Nikolla Nika

Dr. Nikolla Nika is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, University Metropolitan Tirana (UMT), and also serves as Head of the Civil Engineering Department. He has been a lecturer since 2011 at UMT and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Polytechnic University of Tirana (UPT), teaching courses in Material Resistance, Mechanics, and Construction Engineering.

Education:

• Graduated in Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering from UPT
• Postgraduate studies in Structures and Programming at UPT
• Specialized in Concrete at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA)
• Doctor of Science in Dynamic Foundations under Machinery

Research Interests: Nikolla Nika focuses on Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, and the integration of Programming and AI Applications in Engineering, particularly in construction engineering and material mechanics. His work bridges traditional engineering principles with computational methods.

Professional Experience: He previously worked as a designer at the Institute of Industrial Projects (ISP-4) in Tirana, contributing to structural and mechanical engineering projects before transitioning to academia.
