Professor Nikolay Dobronravin is affiliated with St. Petersburg State University. He was a Petra Kappert Fellow at the Collaborative Research Centre for Manuscript Culture (CSMC) at the University of Hamburg during October–December 2015. His research interests focus on cultural heritage preservation, digital manuscript analysis, and written artefact profiling. He has contributed to projects such as DiPiKA—Digital Preservation of Kerala Archives and the Timbuktu Manuscript Training Project. His work emphasizes safeguarding historical manuscripts and inscribed objects globally.
