Nikolay Dimov is a Researcher at the University of Hertfordshire's School of Physics, Engineering & Computer Science, Department of Engineering and Technology. He leads the Microfluidics and Microengineering Research Group (MMRG) and collaborates with the Bioengineering research group and Extracellular Vesicle Research Unit. His work focuses on developing lab-on-a-chip biodetection systems for early disease diagnostics and exosome isolation technologies. Key projects include the DIVISIUM chip development and CIBD compact detection systems.
His research integrates microfluidics with molecular assays for point-of-care diagnostics, combining engineering and biomedical approaches.
