Nikki Graves is an Associate Professor in the Practice of Management Communication at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. With 15 years of college-level teaching experience, she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses focused on writing, presentation skills, and corporate communication, often through experiential service learning.
Her educational background includes:

Graves' research and teaching interests center on management communication, business communication, and organizational communication. She specializes in executive communication, leadership development, and presentation skills. Her work often involves experiential learning and consulting for non-profit organizations through service-learning projects.
Her publications examine workplace dynamics, as evidenced by her 2016 article in Human Resources titled 'Happiness, not convenience, is what employees want from their perks', which analyzes employee satisfaction drivers beyond superficial benefits.
Graves has secured teaching grants from Emory’s Office of University-Community Partnerships to support student consulting projects with organizations including the GA Chapter of the Sierra Club, The Center for Working Families, The United Way, and Atlanta Housing Association of Neighborhood-Based Developers. She serves as faculty advisor for the Goizueta student chapter of The International Association of Business Communicators.
She founded and directs the Goizueta Presentation Coaching Program (GPCP), providing presentation coaching, mock interviewing, and case competition preparation for Goizueta students and professionals, and is certified in the Birkman Method for executive coaching and team development.
