Nikki Carter is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Political Science at the University of Texas at Tyler, also affiliated with the History department. She holds two Master's degrees: one in History and another in Political Science. Her teaching portfolio includes courses such as American History 1301/1302, World Civilizations I, American Government, and Texas Politics. She co-advises the Webb Historical Society (History Club).
Her research interests span American, European, and World history, with a focus on social, political, intellectual, and medical history. Notable historical periods of interest include the Civil War, World War II, and the Civil Rights Movements.
