Nikhil Vasdev

Professor Nikhil Vasdev is a Professor of Robotic Surgery at the University of Hertfordshire and a Consultant Urological and Robotic Surgeon at the Lister Hospital. He serves as Associate Medical Director for Cancer Services at the East and North Herts NHS Trust and leads the Lister Robotic Urology collaboration with the Vatikutti Foundation, USA. His expertise includes robotic surgeries for urologic cancers, with a focus on prostate, bladder, and kidney cancers. He has performed over 1000 robotic urological procedures and is internationally recognized for pioneering techniques like NeuroSAFE prostatectomy and robotic salvage surgeries. His research spans robotic surgical innovations, bladder cancer management, and AI applications in oncology.
