Dr. Nigel Goodman is a Vice-Chancellor's Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Lecturer at RMIT University's School of Property, Construction and Project Management. He is affiliated with the Urban Futures Enabling Impact Platform and the Clean Air Urban Landscapes (CAUL) Hub. His research focuses on indoor air quality, strategies for healthier indoor environments, and pollutant mitigation in buildings like green structures and high-rise apartments.
Dr. Goodman holds a PhD in Infrastructure Engineering from the University of Melbourne (2019). His doctoral work identified critical indoor air pollutants in educational settings and demonstrated pollutant reduction methods with up to 99% efficacy. Prior to his PhD, he worked at CSIRO, contributing to electrochemistry, corrosion studies, and water purification projects, authoring over 67 technical reports.
