Nidthida Lin is an Associate Professor at the Department of Management, Macquarie Business School, Macquarie University. She holds a PhD in Management from the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM), University of New South Wales and University of Sydney, and a Master’s in Computer Science from Cornell University. Her research focuses on managerial decision making, design cognition, and innovation in entrepreneurship and strategic management contexts.

Research interests include dynamic capabilities, offshoring strategies, and the cognitive processes underlying entrepreneurial decision-making. She has published in top journals like Journal of Business Venturing and Academy of Management Review. Her work has been supported by grants from the Australian Research Council (ARC) and industry partnerships.
Key projects include the Penrith Innovation Network/Cluster and studies on technology and innovation management in high-risk environments. She also contributed to the Offshoring Research Network (ORN) at Duke University and worked at Accenture as a business consultant.
Awards include the Best Paper award in the Strategic Management Stream at the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management (2007). She is an active member of the Strategic Management Society and the Academy of Management.
